Guadalupe County
Community Programs
What is ARF-TX doing in the community?
🎓 Free Monthly Community Pet Education
Empowering pet parents to keep local pets healthy, happy, and home.
In 2026, ARF-TX teamed up with the Seguin Public Library to host free monthly Pet Education Classes for our community. We collaborate with local pet rescues, businesses, veterinary professionals, advocates, and local government to bring expert-led pet care resources to Guadalupe County each month. To see upcoming library class schedules and topics, please visit the Seguin Public Library Calendar.
🐾 Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Services
To reduce accidental litters.
In 2026, ARF-TX proudly donated funding to the Seguin Snips Squad to support their quarterly sterilization clinics. To learn more about their program or to register your dog, please visit seguinsnipssquad.org.
🐱 Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR)
Managing and protecting our community cat population.
In 2026, ARF-TX collaborated with TAGS and the Guadalupe Valley Veterinary Clinic to fund a special 12-week Summer TNVR program for Guadalupe County community cats. To learn more about TNVR initiatives in our area, please visit tagstx.org.
📍 Free Pet Microchipping
Ensuring lost pets can always find their way home.
In 2026, ARF-TX is hosting FREE "pop-up" pet microchipping events at local community gatherings, festivals, and markets, providing convenient access for pet owners. To view our upcoming event schedule, check out our Facebook events page at facebook.com/AnimalRescueFoundationTexas/events.
🩺 Low-Cost Pet Vaccination Clinics
Keeping our local pets healthy and protected.
ARF-TX is actively seeking a licensed veterinarian to partner with us for our upcoming Annual Spring/Fall Drive-Through Clinics, which will provide rabies vaccines, essential puppy/kitten vaccinations, and microchips. If you know a veterinarian who might be willing to participate, please contact us at info@arf-tx.org and we will gladly forward our proposal!
🥩 Free Pet Food Distribution
Supporting families facing financial hardship so they can keep their beloved pets.
Due to a current lack of safe, climate-controlled storage space, we have temporarily paused our pet food donations to the local area food bank. We need your help! If you know of a secure, available storage location in the area where we can safely house donated pet food, please let us know.
We look forward to reinstating this vital initiative soon, partnering with Guadalupe County Texas Emergency Management and Fire Marshal to participate in their community food drives. To learn about food assistance options or stay updated on upcoming events, please follow facebook.com/GuadalupeOEM.
